UNIVERSITARY RESIDENCES

The organizing committee is holding a block of dormitory rooms, at the University Residence Fonseca and at the University Residence Monte de la Condesa. Both residences are situated on the University Campus, at 5 and 10 minutes walk respectively from the conference location.

All rooms are double rooms but can be assigned for single or double use. Children of any age can be accommodated. Please note that rooms are not air conditioned, but the buildings are cool enough. Each dormitory room is equipped with shower (at the Fonseca and Rodriguez Cadarso Residences) or bath (at the Monte de la Condesa Residence), bed linens, pillow, blankets, bath towel, hand towel and hand soap. Rooms are serviced daily (waste receptacles emptied, towels changed when neccesary). Linens can be changed twice during the stay. Irons can be requested at the front desk. Each residence is equipped with telephones (credit card, chip-card or coin-operated) that allow outgoing campus, local and long-distance calls and incoming calls.

There are common lounge areas in each residence hall for informal gathering. Each building has vending machines and coin-operated laundry and tumble dryer machines on the lower level. University residences Monte de la Condesa and Fonseca are elevator-equipped. Campus-parking spaces are available in non-reserved or open lots. During the conference, the lunches will be served at the University restaurant located in the residence Monte de la Condesa.

The prices quoted below are per room per night and include breakfast and taxes. All prices are in Pesetas and in Euros.

All rooms are available from noon on Sunday, July 9th 2000 through noon on Monday, July 16th 2000. Unfortunately, it is not possible to make reservations for dates before July 9th or after July 16th.

University accommodation will be allocated on a first come first served basis, and the number of rooms is limited, so reserve your accommodations as soon as possible. The deadline for making dormitory room reservations is Friday 19 May, 2000. Payment must be made at the time of reservation. Each participant who reserves a room in a University residence will receive a confirmation by e-mail, which will include the address, phone number and location of his/her residence hall assignment; this confirmation must be presented to the desk staff upon arrival.

PAYMENT FOR LODGING AT UNIVERSITY RESIDENCES

1) Payment Methods:

By Check. The check must be made payable to the
	Universidad de Santiago de Compostela-Congresos
Unfortunately, Eurochecks cannot be accepted.

By Bank Transfer. In this case, you must have a bank transfer sent to:

Please, attach a copy of the transfer order to the reservation form. Please complete all Checks/Bank Transfers in Pesetas or in Euros.

By Credit Card.
Payment is welcome in the form Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Unfortunately, no other credit cards can be accepted.

2) Payment is required in full and in advance and must accompany the reservation form.

3) No reservation will be confirmed until payment is received.

4) No refund (full or partial) of the deposit will be made for cancellations, nor for any nights the dormitory room is not occupied during a reservation period.

5) The name of the participant (or all names, if payment is made for more than one person) should be clearly marked on the remittance.
